Rates:

My rate is $175 per therapeutic hour (50 minutes).

I also offer longer sessions to current clients (75 or 90 minutes) at a prorated rate. If you are interested in longer appointments we can discuss this during the initial consultation call.

  • I am an out of network provider. Each client is responsible for full payment of the session. I am happy to provide superbills to submit for out of network reimbursement at any point during therapy.

  • Jade Counseling requires 24 hours notice for a cancellation or reschedule request. Due to the nature of this type of work I am often unable to fill the slot last minute which is why I require 24 hours notice. If a cancellation or reschedule occurs within less than 24 hours clients are responsible for paying the full session fee. If several cancellations occur in a row (3 or more) I will no longer be able to hold an appointment spot for the client.

  • I can accept payments in the form of credit or debit cards, HSA and FSA accounts, Venmo, or cash.

  • Yes! Therapy is confidential and our work together will be private. There are a only few circumstances that require a therapist to break confidentiality which include: 1. a child is in danger, 2. you are threatening to harm yourself, 3. you are threatening to harm another person.

  • This really depends on the individual! I provide both short term and long term therapy depending on the client’s needs. Initially, it is best to have a regular commitment via a weekly or bi-weekly appointment, and then titrate down in frequency as things progress. However, I understand therapy is a big commitment and I will never force a client to meet with me more frequently than they are able to. We can discuss frequency and length of treatment during a phone call consultation.

  • I specialize in treating childhood trauma, PTSD, chronic pain, and codependency. I also have extensive experience working with anxiety, depression, spirituality, relationship conflict, and substance use. However, you do not have to self identify as having these problems to work with me! I’m happy to provide structured support and guidance through the regular difficulties of life that we all face.

  • Absolutely not! These are modalities I offer clients because I really believe in their effectiveness however I never force any type of treatment on a client. If you decide to work with me we can discuss how you would like to approach your therapy and if these types of treatments are something you’d like to try. I have many clients that prefer traditional talk therapy and I fully believe in the effectiveness of this as well.
